Well this time last year you were starting to make your journey into this world & me & daddy couldn't of been happier. My labour didn't go the way I had wanted but it was so worth it when I held you in my arms for the 1st time. I could of sworn we were expecting a boy but daddy kept saying a girl. We were both over the moon, a special little princess. I couldn't wait until we could go shopping, mummy & daughter, like I do with my mum, to buy you some lovely little outfits. We never got chance though did we. We had so much to look forward to this time last year, I cannot believe I am writing this instead of decorating the house with banners & balloons. I'm actually dreading waking up tomorrow, instead of waking up waiting for you to get up, you wouldn't have a clue it was your 1st birthday, but we would. Its just another milestone we are missing out on. We love you more than life itself & miss you more than you will ever know.
