Story

Me (Lesley Beaumont, Ellie's Mummy) and my sister in laws Sally Gregory & Diane Ellis (Ellie's Aunties) have set ourselves a challenge to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks on Saturday 3rd May 2014. The total walking distance is 24.5 miles & includes the peaks of Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough. We have decided to do it the weekend before what would of been Ellie's 1st birthday. We have had so much support from family & friends with some doing sponsored events, that us girls decided we wanted to do something to raise money for this amazing charity. We have decided to do it the weekend before what would of been Ellie's 1st birthday. We know that Ellie will be with us every step of the way, helping us through when we wont think we can go much further & guiding us to the finish. I love & miss you more & more every day my gorgeous girl & I still crn't believe your not here with us any more. Hope we make you proud gorgeous. all our love Mummy, Auntie Sal & Auntie Diane. Stay near us always xxxx

We did it!!!!

3rd May 2014
Well sweetheart, we did it & I know you were there with us all day, spurring us on when we were struggling. The weather was perfect & I like to think you had something to do with that too. I hope we have made you as proud as I feel right now. I still crnt believe your not here with us & that we have done all of this in honour of you & to raise vital funds for the charity of the awful disease that took you away from us. It took part of us & part of our hearts with you that day. I know you would of had a good life with us, why wouldn't you when we wanted you more than anything we've ever wanted in our lives. Love you more & more everyday lots of love mummy & daddy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
