Windermere Row

Story

On Sunday 30th June my husband, Jamie, will be rowing 21 miles down the length of Lake Windermere (from Ambleside to Fellfoot and back). He is officially doing this event for another charity but he wanted to help Ellie's Fund and appeal to a wider group of friends for sponsorship (away from the main corporate sponsorship). He has done this event before (9 years ago!) and would have broken a time record if it wasn't for his team being mis-informed about the rest time rules!! So Jamie and his team of three others will be attempting to break the time record this time - albeit with two different team mates than last time. Also, this year Jamie will be doing it dressed as a giraffe! His boss will be Noah - you get the picture! This is no easy task with or without fancy dress, especially considering the boats used are the very simple, old wooden ones you can hire for an hour!!! Please dig deep...Thank you xx
